Colombo District is one of the 25 administrative districts of Sri Lanka, located in the Western Province. It is the country’s most densely populated district and serves as Sri Lanka’s principal economic, commercial, and administrative hub, encompassing the commercial capital of Colombo and the legislative capital of Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte.
